What are the requirements for Bills of Lading when it comes to pallet (freight) or carton (parcel) shipments?

For pallet shipments to the Warehouse (store 99), contact Koch Logistics for routing instructions. Provide carrier name, consignee name, street address, city and state, commodity description, pieces, weight and classification on the BOL. If shipping out of a public warehouse, include the vendor name. Stamp third party billing information to: 3rd Party Bill To: Evereve c/o Koch Logistics P.O. Box 4239 St. Paul, MN 55101-4239 After pickup, email or fax the BOL to Koch Logistics. Contact the Koch Logistics Team for 3rd Party Koch Bills of Lading or labels, and ensure EVEREVE billing account number is included in the purchase order data.

What are the requirements for carton or pallet labels and their placement?

For cartons, an 856 ASN and GS1-128 label must be provided for all master packed shipment cartons. Each carton should have a single GS1-128 label on the top or side, visible when cartons are stacked. Cartons should be clearly labeled as masterpacks. For pallets, there is no specific label placement guidance on pallets separate from carton requirements.

What are the requirements for placing labels on cartons being shipped?

Cartons being shipped must have a GS1-128 (formerly UCC-128) label provided for all master packed shipment cartons. All masterpack cartons must be clearly labeled as a masterpack. The GS1-128 label should be placed on the top or the side of each carton so they are visible when stacked on a pallet.
