Purchase orders cannot be mixed within a single carton. Products must be grouped by Purchase Order when loading multiple Purchase Orders in a single container.

For multiple PO shipments, you can mix products from different POs onto one pallet if: 1) The same product/PO combinations are layered together on the pallet. 2) One complete PO can fit on a pallet and there's space for an additional PO. Otherwise, do not mix products from different POs onto one pallet.

SKUs can be mixed on a single pallet if quantities do not constitute a full pallet per SKU. The pallet should be built such that each pallet has 1 SKU per tier, up to the maximum multi SKU pallet height for the destination DC. The heaviest and largest sized tier must be on the bottom.

The maximum weight requirement for shipping pallets varies by facility: AJ Billes DC - 2100 lbs, Bolton DC - 2700 lbs, Calgary DC - 2250 lbs, Montreal DC - 2800 lbs, Calgary Depot - 2400 lbs, Montreal Depot - 2400 lbs, Vaughan Depot - 2400 lbs. There is no specified minimum weight requirement for pallets.

Cartons must have a visible UCC-128 standard shipping label. If shipping a full pallet of a single product, 1 label per pallet is sufficient. For shipments without master cartons, shipping marks must be bilingual (English and French), contain the Canadian Tire Product Number, Place of Origin, and UPC, and be in compliance with Quebec's Charter of the French Language. Dangerous goods master cartons require labeling according to the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and/or International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. Carton markings must face the door in containers, and the country of origin must be easily identifiable on outermost packaging for Customs inspections.
