Packing slips must provide purchase order number, total number of master cases shipped, description, model number, size and color for each SKU, and total quantity. For non-EDI vendors, a packing slip must be attached to the outside of the lead case for LTL or Truckload shipments and also attached to the Bill of Lading. For small parcel shipments, it must be on the outside of each case in a removable sleeve or envelope.

It is possible to mix SKUs on a single pallet. The requirements include grouping the same SKUs together on the pallet, and multiple Purchase Orders (POs) on a pallet must be grouped together with different POs separated by cardboard.

Yes, SKUs can be mixed within a single carton (Mixed SKU Case) under certain conditions. Mixed SKU Cases must be packed in a case marked or labeled "Mixed SKU Case" in 2-inch lettering on a separate label or utilize printed case sealing tape. Each SKU must be separated into individual inner cases, and these inner cases must be secure, stable, and labeled with a scannable UPC, SKU, Vendor Model Number, and Quantity. Additionally, each Mixed SKU Case must have a GS1-128 label and follow physical case requirements to prevent damage. The same SKU is not allowed to be scattered among multiple Mixed SKU Cases.

The maximum weight for packed cases is 40 pounds (18.14 kilograms). If a carton exceeds 40 pounds, a 'HEAVY' sticker must be affixed. Exceeding 75 pounds requires a 'Team Lift' sticker. Cartons should be able to withstand all shipping, warehouse, conveyor, and storage demands. The minimum weight is not specified.

For Bills of Lading concerning pallet (freight) or carton (parcel) shipments: - All shipments must be billed in accordance with the shipping terms on the Purchase Order. - No freight expenditures are allowed on a product invoice. - Transportation or Warehousing fees cannot be added to product invoices. These charges will be reversed or charged back if attempted. - Three copies of the Bill of Lading are required: two for the carrier at pick-up and one for the vendor's records. The vendor must maintain a record of the Bill of Lading and Pro/Seal numbers. - FTL collect shipments require the trailer to be sealed by the vendor and the seal number noted on the Bill of Lading. Failure to seal may result in responsibility for shortages and chargebacks. - For LTL shipments, both vendor and carrier must count and agree on the number of cases loaded. The number should be noted on the Bill of Lading, not including shrink-wrapped pallets.

For Cabela's Retail Canada, place the GS1-128 label vertically on the longer side of the carton. It should be on the lower right side, no closer than 1-1/4" from the bottom or side. For pallets, a GS1-128 label should be on every carton, securing all pallets with shrink wrap. The minimum pallet dimension is 48"x40", not exceeding 48"x48"x84". For Bass Pro Shops, place the GS1-128 label on the short-side, bottom-right corner of each case. For boxes narrower than the 4" label, apply it on the long-side. Labels must be white, 4"x6", non-glossy, waterproof, and scannable. For pallets, GS1-128 labels must be on all cases, and pallets must be shrink-wrapped.

Inner cases must contain selling units of the same SKU within the master case. Each inner case must be a secure and stable unit, with a scannable UPC, SKU, vendor model number, and quantity. If the inner case quantity is more than 1, the master case must be evenly divisible by the inner case quantity, e.g., 24/6, 48/6, 36/4. Quantities and items described in the master and inner case markings must agree with contents.

The GS1-128 label (formerly UCC-128) must be placed on every Master Case and every Mixed SKU Case. Placement should be on the short-side, bottom-right corner of each case. If the case's ends are narrower than the 4" label, it should be applied on the long-side to remain scannable. The label must be a white adhesive, 4"x6" in size, non-glossy, and waterproof. It must be correct, scannable, and not covered by laminate or tape. The SSCC-18 barcode within the label is 3.06" wide x 1.30" high. For EDI cases, the label should be placed vertically on the longer side, on the lower right side, no closer than 1-1/4" edge of the bottom or side. Mixed cases must have a 'MIXED' label applied, with lettering height of 5cm or 2".
