Anaconda Packaging Guidelines

The packing list should match container contents and be packed according to the packing standards. The specific placement of the packing list is not mentioned in the pages provided.

All Articles in a purchase order must be on the same pallet. If this is not possible, multiple pallets can be used, but purchase orders cannot be mixed within a single pallet unless there is explicit approval in writing from the Buyer.

Where there are multiple articles on a PO, each article should be palletised separately and each pallet must be clearly marked as 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.

SKUs can be mixed within a single carton only in a PDQ/ratio pack, where the PDQ must be packed in its entirety in its own carton with 1 PDQ per carton and article numbers must be included as part of the shipping mark. Additional stock not part of the PDQ must be solid packed, 1 article per carton.

The maximum weight for a shipping carton is 16 kilograms. If approval is given, cartons can exceed this but must be clearly marked with specific icons. There is no specified minimum weight for cartons.

Carton labels, referred to as Shipping Marks in the Anaconda Vendor Compliance Manual, must be placed on opposite ends of the carton but not on the top or bottom. Each carton must include details such as Anaconda's Purchase Order number, Article number, EAN, Design/Description, Color, Total Units, Gross Weight, Net Weight, Cubic Measurement, and Carton Number. If the carton contains liquids or glassware, it must be labeled as fragile. For cartons weighing over 16 kg that have been approved by Anaconda, Heavy Weight Icons must be placed visibly on three sides of the carton, excluding the top and bottom.

Inner packs must have inner carton markings which include: Article Number, EAN, Description of the product, and Quantity. If an article exceeds 16 kilograms, it must be packed singularly per box and any carton exceeding 16 kilograms must be clearly marked with Anaconda's standard marking icons. For cartons over 16 kg, three heavy weight icons must be placed (not on the top or bottom).

Carton packing labels should be placed on opposite ends of the carton and never on the top or bottom. Each carton must have a Shipping Mark with details such as Anaconda's Purchase Order number, Article number, EAN, Design/Description, Colour, Total of Units, Gross Weight, Net Weight, Cubic Measurement, Carton Number, and SSCC label (if applicable). Labels on cartons that are also selling cartons must be removable without causing damage, and must not obstruct EANs or serial numbers. Heavy Weight Icons, if applicable, must be placed in visible areas on the carton, avoiding the top and bottom. The SSCC label is also mandatory for some shipments as highlighted in document ID 4e84c877-7519-4158-bc35-b57ca946b6e7.

The maximum acceptable height of pallets is 1.4 meters (including pallet).
