Where do I place the label on a carton?

For carton labels, you must attach a clearly legible label on the outside of each carton. In addition, the guide distinguishes two other label types: • Sewn‐in labels must be applied on the garment so they lie flat without any puckering and include fiber content, care instructions (with specific details on wash, bleach, dry, and iron), style #, color name and color code; • Hang tags must be attached to each apparel unit – for most items on the clothing label displaying the category, or on the bottom right (front view) secured by the belt loop with a black string and plastic closure (unless the buying team approves alternative placement).
