Can you mix multiple SKUs per carton?

Yes – as long as all items in a shipping container come from the same PO and each SKU is individually packaged in its ready‐to‐sell package, you may include multiple SKUs in one carton.

Can you mix multiple SKUs per pallet?

The guidelines do not explicitly restrict mixing multiple SKUs on a pallet. They require that each shipping container include products from a single purchase order and that individual items be packaged by SKU, but there isn’t a rule preventing different SKUs from being placed together on the same pallet.

Can you mix POs in a single carton?

No, you cannot mix POs in a single carton; each container must contain products from a single PO only.

Can you mix POs in a single pallet?

Yes – provided that each shipping container on the pallet contains products from a single PO only. While containers cannot mix POs, different containers (each with one PO) may be palletized together.

What are the max dimensions and weights for cartons?

Cartons must not exceed 50 pounds. No specific maximum dimensions for cartons are provided in the guidelines.

Where do I place the label on a carton?

Shipping container labels (i.e., carton labels) must be applied on the exterior of the container. For standard containers, the exterior must display the brand name and the PO number. If one PO is split among multiple containers, each container must also indicate its box number and the total number of boxes (for example, ‘Box 1/3’). When a container is labeled with “Multiple POs”, no specific PO is shown and a detailed packing slip (in a waterproof envelope) must be attached to the exterior. In addition, pallet labels must be placed in the upper right corner of one of the sides of the palletized unit load, showing the shipment order and total number of pallets. For apparel, eyewear, home decor and similar products, any exterior label on the individual packaging (whether on a sealed poly bag, shrink wrap or a retail container) should clearly show the required product details (such as style number, color and correct size) matching the PO and any sewn-in label.

Where do I place the label on a pallet?

Place the pallet label in the upper right corner on one of the sides of the unitized load. The label must clearly indicate the order number and the total number of pallets (for example, 'Pallet 1 of 3').
