Where do I place the label on a carton?
Carton labeling has two main placements. The Carton Markings label must be placed on the carton’s long side (the carton length) and must be at least 1/2 inch high. The UCC128 Barcode Label must be placed on one end of the carton. Additionally, if the shipâto location number isn’t incorporated in the UCC128 label, it must be applied (using a label or stencil) on the upper right-hand corner of the carton end that has the UCC128 label, with block letters at a minimum height of 1 inch.
