Can I stack pallets?

Yes. Pallets must be stacked straight using interlock stacking. They can be double stacked provided the pallet has a square and flat roof.

Where do I place the label on a carton?

For cartons the label must be applied to the outer surface. The best practice outer carton label must include the following details: • For both International and Local shipments, the label must display the brand name, VPO number, and SKU information (vendor item number is preferred). • It should show the carton sequence (for example, ‘1 of 8’ if cartons are not palletised), item description, item barcode (where applicable), and carton quantity. • If the carton contains mixed items, the label must list the SKU and quantity for each item.

Where do I place the label on a pallet?

For outer carton labels, affix the label on the outside of every carton showing mandatory details such as brand, VPO number, SKU info, item description, barcode and carton quantity (and, if items are mixed, a breakdown per item). For outer pallet labels, the label must be placed on the outer face of the pallet so that the pallet number is clear and visible and must include the brand, VPO number(s) and the pallet count (e.g. 'Pallet 1 of 4').
