Below you will find a common list of FAQs that our users have when it comes to packaging guidelines for Fanatics.

Can purchase orders be mixed within a single carton?
Cartons must contain merchandise for only one purchase order. Mixing purchase orders within a single carton is not allowed.
Can SKUs be mixed within a single carton?
Yes, SKUs can be mixed within a single carton under the Mixed UPC (pack by PO) Packing Instructions. The requirements are that the cartons must contain merchandise for only one purchase order and for only one final fulfillment center location. The cartons should be packed with multiple UPCs and/or units to minimize the number of cartons, without exceeding conveyable carton dimensions specified in Section 8.10.
What are the max and min weights for shipping cartons?
Cartons with a case pack of 2 or more (excluding displays) may not exceed 75 lbs.
What are the requirements for carton or pallet labels and their placement?
All cartons shipping to Fanatics fulfillment centers require a unique UCC-128 label in SSCC-18 format. The UCC-128 label must be created following GS1 standards and specifications and must have a 4"x6" format with specific barcode dimensions. The label must be accompanied by a valid 856 ASN and must be placed in a way that they are in good scan-able condition on arrival. Only one UCC-128 shipping label should be applied per carton, and any vendor internal barcode label not matching the UCC-128 should be defaced. Pallet level shipping containers and/or ASN's are not accepted.
What are the requirements for inner packs and cases?
Inner packs, if used as a subset of the master pack, require the vendor to ensure that the Fanatics buyer understands the master and inner casepack relationship. If the buyer does not agree, the vendor must remove or alter the inner pack to meet the buyer's needs. Cartons must contain merchandise for only one purchase order and final fulfillment center location. Unnecessary inner cartons are not allowed unless agreed upon by the buyer.
What are the requirements for placing labels on cartons being shipped?
All cartons shipping to Fanatics fulfillment centers require a unique UCC-128 label in SSCC-18 format. Labels must be marked in English and Spanish, and legally required external labels must not be obstructed. The UCC-128 label must follow GS1 standards, comply with certain barcode specifications such as 4"X6" format, and be printed using thermal printing. Cartons should not have more than one UCC-128 label. Human readable characters are required on barcodes. For non-EDI labels, purchase order numbers are used.
