Are there any requirements for packing lists when shipping pallets?

Yes, there are requirements for packing lists. When scheduling delivery appointments, vendors or their carrier must provide FabFitFun with one packing list per load including the Purchase order number, SKU, total unit quantity, pallet quantity and dimensions, carton quantity and dimensions. The packing list should be placed in a pouch affixed to the outside of a carton, or inside of a carton clearly marked "Packing List Enclosed." The carton containing the packing list must be loaded on the top of the pallet with the pouch or writing facing outward.

Can pallets be stacked?

Pallets can be stacked with cartons uniformly across them, maintaining the same number of cartons per pallet except for the last one. Palletized products must be sorted to keep SKUs together, and the maximum pallet height is 62" from floor to top.

What are the requirements for Bills of Lading when it comes to pallet (freight) or carton (parcel) shipments?

The Bill of Lading (BOL) must include: all purchase orders on the shipment, pallet quantity (if applicable), carton quantity, delivery date. The delivery receipt must be signed "subject to recount" to allow for concealed shortage or damage inspection. What are the requirements for carton or pallet labels and their placement?

FabFitFun requires master carton labels that are at least 4" x 6" in size, made from white matte label stock with black ink. Labels must be positioned outward facing on any lower carton corner, below the perforation. The label should include the item name, PO#, SKU, item expiration date, product barcode, and lot number barcode. If the carton is smaller than the label size, contact for guidance is available. Pallet labels are not mentioned in the provided documents.

What are the requirements for inner packs and cases?

The use of inner packs is not permitted. Products should be packaged in primary packaging that has been ISTA Transit Tested. Master cartons must be sealed and taped closed (no staples), with corrugated board strength of at least 200# BST or 32 ECT.
