The reply indicates that for multipiece shipments via small parcel UPS, consolidation is allowed as long as all rules are followed. There is no prohibition against mixing SKUs in the consolidated carton.

Where do I place the label on a carton?

Carton Identification Label – Place one label on any one side of the carton (not on the top). There is no specific size requirement; however, some guidelines note that if a placement is preferred it may be the upper left-hand corner. Seasonal Label – Use four labels per carton (one on each side), each measuring 8" x 5" (or as large as possible for smaller cartons) and positioned preferably on the carton’s corners.

Where do I place the label on a pallet?

Pallet labels must be applied on any two sides of the pallet, either in the upper or lower corners. For suppliers providing ASN data, the full sample label (including Ship From, Ship To, Purchase Order numbers, SSCC, etc.) must be used. For suppliers NOT providing ASN data, only the information highlighted in green is required, and other sections can be disregarded.
