Below you will find a common list of FAQs that our users have when it comes to packaging guidelines for Crate & Barrel.

Can I stack pallets?
Yes. Oversized products shipped flat can be stacked on customized pallets, provided that the stack height is printed on the carton.
Can you mix multiple SKUs per carton?
Yes, you can mix multiple SKUs in one carton if it is designated as a Mixed SKU Carton. Each unique SKU must be packed in its own master carton with an EDI/EDIPX label and then placed in the larger carton, which must have an outer label displaying the words 'MIXED SKUs' brightly on at least two sides.
Can you mix multiple SKUs per pallet?
Pallets should ideally be stacked with one SKU, but if multiple SKUs are used, the pallet must be clearly marked with the SKUs and the quantities.
What are the max dimensions and weights for cartons?
The cartons must have a maximum sum of outside dimensions of 75 inches and a maximum gross weight of 65 lbs.
Where do I place the label on a carton?
For master cartons, the label should be placed on adjacent sides of corrugated cartons (two labels for Infor Nexus shipments) unless space constraints force an alternative placement (such as on opposite sides). For cartons shorter than 6 inches in height or whose width and height are smaller than the label size, refer to the provided illustrations for adjusted placement. For rugs, the label is to be placed on the side near the end of the roll – and for Infor Nexus shipments, on both sides near the end. In addition, inner pack cartons must receive an inner carton label that displays the SKU number, SKU description, and the quantity (in pieces or sets), and special labels (such as a brightly colored “CUSTOM” label or an “ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED” sticker) must be applied as specified to the appropriate sides of the carton.
