Are there any requirements for packing lists when shipping cartons?
A packing slip must be emailed to logistics@altitude-sports.com 24 to 48 hours before shipment arrival and included on the lead carton, clearly identified. There must be one packing slip per purchase order, and it must have two parts detailing shipment information and a summary of shipped items.
Are there any requirements for packing lists when shipping pallets?
Each shipment should be accompanied by a copy of the packing list. It can be a sticker on the first carton of the load, specifically carton #1. If multiple shipments are for the same PO, a copy of the packing list is required on the first carton of the load. The carrier/driver must also provide a copy of the BOL and PL to the warehouse staff upon delivery.
Can purchase orders be mixed within a single carton?
No, every Purchase Order shall be packaged individually and shall not be combined with any other Purchase Order.
Can SKUs be mixed on a single pallet?
For shipments that are palletized, if a pallet contains multiple SKUs, all cartons must be labeled and the SSCC information must be provided at the pack level. Alternatively, cartons must be packed in layers within the pallet by SKU, with each layer labeled accordingly.
Can SKUs be mixed within a single carton?
Products within each carton box should be separated at the SKU level and sorted by Style/Color Code/Name and Size(s). Mixing SKUs without separation is not indicated according to the guidelines. Altitude recommends using smaller boxes within the carton box, polybags, or cardboard dividers for proper separation.
